Hi, I'm Jimmy, I work as a consultant in emergency medicine in Galway with a subspecialist interest in humanitarian medicine.
I am an hon. senior lecturer in Global Health at the University of Galway and the Director of the Galway Resus Academy. I have worked for MSF and other agencies in Palestine, Liberia, Afghanistan, Nigeria, and South Africa and am passionate about ethics and professionalism in the humanitarian medical sphere.

Originally from Canada, I try to spend as much time as I can in a sea kayak off off the west coast or in the Maumturks in Connemara.
